I’m splitting day two of the minis in separate posts. We had more shoots on this day than the day before and luckily the weather cooperated so nicely! It is was changing gears each 30 minutes…one second I’m shooting cousins, the next a toddler, the next a family of 6, etc. Basically, all were shot at the lake or studio to minimize drive time. I may work something different out for next year. Give me your input! Day at lake, day at a field, day at studio?

Whew! (24 sessions in 2 days!) Last weekend was THE Mini Session Event. For those photogs curious, we started at 9:00am and went all day until 5:30pm. This means all sorts of lighting scenarios, and brrrr were the mornings cold! We tackled wet grass, cold wind, nap time woes, and busy toddlers. They were incredibly successful and many wonderful images for Christmas cards or such are the benefit. Now…for a little preview of DAY ONE of TWO – again click on each for a bigger version.
Love American Eagle? Check out their new kids line! Great stuff for fall shoots.

Recently moving into the area from Lousiana, it was a sweet change of pace to shoot this bonnet babe from all the recent toddler ;) . Look into those eyes and you’ll wonder if mommy will ever be able to tell her no.
Oh, and yes, I survived the 24 sessions this weekend! I may be behind on blog posts for those that requested them…so keep checking back this week.
