My eyes are always peeled for new locations here within a few miles of the studio…I have been on drives on Sundays (which my boys loooove to do with me), just checking out fields, and trying to find a small creek for months now. Lo-and-behold we stumbled upon one today! Clear water, rock bed, green surrounding…let’s hope summer doesn’t dry it up!

I got some great responses on “a little story” – the behind the scenes details on each image I did. So, I had some time to do it again, but this time with a cute, blonde, sassy girl M.
M climbed up on the window all by herself…and was soo proud. Can you tell? :) It had just poured a good sized shower and we were waiting for the sun to come out.
Another natural light shot…just getting to know each other.. And, oh yeah, playing with my reflector which I totally got started. I think she thought she was getting away with something. ha
Now I love candid shots…you know…those where the child is looking off in the distance. But, a session just isn’t complete without some good eye contact and a few smiles.
And here we are playing peek-a-boo!
Outside the studio…and girly did NOT like getting those feet wet. Who can blame? I think she’s trying to tell me here!
At the lake now. Mommy was too pretty not to be in any shots. Tickling little M cheesin’ for me.
I saw this gorgeous blue sky and had to get it in the shot with the girls. Poor mommy’s arms!
Toddler session = basket. :) Wet feet not a problem anymore! Look at that sweet face.

OH! And good news….the fence is staying! Yea! I guess I talked the owners into keeping it.

Memorial day is here…and I did have a shoot from a reschedule today. I’ll post some of it a little later. First, I promised mommy a few peeks of her two kiddos from this weekend.
The weather forecast has been wrong every day since Friday…what is the deal? So, we just chanced it and went outside anyways…
Now, check this guy out. We made friends right from the start and he helped me get little sister to open up and smile too. Oh, and for those looking for clothing inspiration, look how great brown photographs….it really does make his brown eyes stand out and goes well against the greens.
And little P, her cute outfit you can find at Katiebugs…I love how the strap would fall over her shoulder.

What a way to spend a birthday than to have a photo session with your sister? Happy Birthday Miss S – who has one of THE coolest rooms ever. I loved talking a little HM & AI with you girls…
